Find It!

So let’s say you need a new pair of black heels for an upcoming wedding, party, or work event. How do you usually go about finding them? I either head to the mall, stop into my usual stores, and leave with everything but shoes. Or I browse online through all my bookmarked stores. Sometimes I find what I’m looking for, other times the task of browsing several sites seems like too much work.

While at the IFB Evolving Influence conference last week, I learned about a great online shopping tool that can help you quickly find what you’re looking for. One of the conference’s sponsors, TheFind.com is a search engine for shopping. It puts every product, store, sale, coupon, and discount right at your fingertips.

TheFind basically brings a virtual shopping mall to your computer. Your search for a particular item becomes so much easier. There are all sorts of filters that can be applied to your searches–price, brand, store, color, ways of payment, and more. (I hope they’ll add a size filter soon!)

Just want to browse? Found something you need to think about a bit more before purchasing? In addition to searching for items, you can save all your favorite products and searches for future reference. You can also save your favorite brands and stores for a more personalized shopping experience, and share the “Shop Like Me” tab on your Facebook page.

There’s so much you can do with this online tool, you just have to give it a try. I’m also a huge fan and regular reader of their fashion blog.
